Getting into Bhutan

Bhutan can be entered either by overland or by air.

By Flight:
Druk Air- the national flag carrier and Bhutan Airlines operate flights to Bhutan from different cities like Kathmandu, Delhi, Bangkok, Singapore. It lands at the Paro International Airport in Paro, the only international airport in Bhutan.

By Land:
Phuntsholing is the entry point from the west where it connects with Bagdogra, West Bengal India or Kakarbhitta, Nepal. Bagdogra has airport connecting different Indian cities. Gelephu is the entry point in the central region. Samdrup Jongkhar is the eastern entry point that exits to Guwahati in India.
