For foreigners visiting Nepal, the government of Nepal has decided to increase the visa fee. Now the revised rates for Nepalese visa on 15 days multiple entry for tourist visa is US$30, previously US$25. For 30 days multiple entry, the visa fee is US$50, previously US$40 and for 90 days, the rate is US$125 from US$100 previously. All of these visa fees are per person. Visa charge for those visiting Nepal on a 30-day non-tourist visa has been set at $30. Nepal is planning the year 2020 as the ‘Visit Nepal Year – 2020’ and aim for 2 million tourists arrival but tourist entrepreneurs express anxiety over the increased visa fee might hamper Visit Nepal Year.
