The trek is short but it allows you to observe a great mountain panorama. As well as explore the charming settlements and high mountain villages which the Annapurna region has to offer. The trekking trail passes through terraced farmlands, small villages, rhododendron & oak forests with un-parallel scenic mountains. The trek will give you an insight into the culture and lifestyles of the people living in the rural areas. Annapurna luxury lodge trek is a moderately graded trek into another popular trek destination in Nepal, the Annapurna region. Visit Pokhara city, the natural wonder of Nepal and witnessing sunrise over the Himalayas from the popular viewpoint ‘Poon Hill’ at 3,210 meters. Stay at the luxury lodges available throughout the trekking trail.
Upon arrival at TIA- Tribhuvan International Airport, meet our representatives who shall then transfer you to your hotel. The rest of the time is at leisure/free to explore around the city or relax at your hotel to overcome your jetlag. Overnight at Hotel in Kathmandu.
After breakfast, meet at the hotel lobby including the City Guide and proceed for sightseeing around Kathmandu City. First leg of the tour visits the Kathmandu Durbar Square, a historical and one of the heritage sites with several temples, palaces, shrines. Then proceed towards the popular Buddhist Stupa located on hilltop providing spectacular view of the entire Kathmandu Valley including the surrounding mountains, Swoyambhunath or popularly known as ‘Monkey Temple’. After lunch, visit the holiest Hindu temple of Pashupatinath located at the banks Bagmati River and to nearby another famous Buddhist Stupa, Boudhanath. Afterwards, transfer back to your hotel. Evening: Meet again at the hotel’s lobby for the trek briefing from your trek guide. Overnight at Hotel in Kathmandu.
After breakfast, proceed to the natural wonder of Nepal ‘Pokhara’. There the option of either flying or driving to Pokhara; by flight will take just 25 minutes flying with great mountain views and beautiful landscapes below. Though overland drive to Pokhara is also equally interesting passing along rivers, green forests, hills, small towns, shops and beautiful mountain panorama. It takes about 5-6 hours drive. Upon reaching Pokhara, check-in hotel. Overnight at Hotel in Pokhara
After breakfast, drive to Lumle (1 hr drive), the trek-start-point, and start the trek with first arriving at the village of Chandrakot (1580m) after an hour’s walk. From here one can witness spectacular panorama of mountains like Annapurna South, Fishtail or locally known as Machhapuchchhre – the scared and unclimbed mountain. The trek then passes through a forested area along a well worn trail for about another hour and reaches Majgaon. After check-in lodge & lunch, you can explore around the villages of Tanchowk, Majgaon and Patlekhet which takes about 2 hours. Overnight Luxury lodge in Majgaon.
Start the trek after breakfast towards Landruk where the trail passes through Rhododenfron forest and couple of small Gurung villages. The hike today is about 4-5 hours and finally arriving at the beautiful village of Landruk. After check-in the lodge, you can enjoy a small visit to nearby Gurung village. Continue hiking with majestic mountain views at first descending towards Modi Khola. The trail then goes steeply towards the river through scattered villages and after a steep ascent up will finally reach Ghandruk. From Ghandruk, one can witness great spectacular panorama of Gangapurna, Fishtail ‘Machhapuchchhre’, Mt. Annapurna and other snow-capped mountains. There’s also a local museum at Ghandruk. Have your breakfast with majestic sunrise over the Himalayas like Annapurna South, Annapurna I, Hiunchuli, Gangapurna, Fishtail. The trek then begins passing along the rhododendron forest towards Tadapani. Overnight local lodge (best available) in Tadapani.
The trek today is about 5-6 hours again through the rhododendron forest with beautiful views of Annapurna South and Hiunchuli. The trail passes along fields, pastures and oak and rhododendron forests. Soon Ghorepani is reached; Ghorepani was actually a watering post for horses but has now turned into an important resting place for both tourists and caravans on the Jomsom Pokhara trail. Overnight local lodge (best available) in Ghorepani.
Early in the morning, hike to the popular Himalayan viewpoint ‘Poon hill’ to witness sunrise over mountains like Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, Himchuli and Machhapuchchhre then head towards Birethanti passing over Tirkhedhunga. Soon Ulleri is reached, from here Fishtail mountain view is magnificent. After check-in, you can explore around the surrounding river valley. Overnight local lodge (best availbale) in Ulleri.
Ulleri is a Magar community village and after breakfast, trek the flights of steps down to Tikhedhunga. Then the trail goes alongside the Burungdi River to reach Birethanti. Birethanti is a village located at the confluence of Burungdi and Modi Rivers. Overnight Luxuruy lodge in Birethanti.
The trek continues along the Modi River until reaching Nayapul. Here our vehicle will be waiting for us to drive us back to Pokhara which is about 1 & half hours journey. Upon arrival in Pokhara, check-in hotel and rest/explore round Pokhara if you wish. Overnight at Hotel in Pokhara.
After breakfast will begin sightseeing around Pokhara visiting Seti River Gorge, Davis Falls, The longest cave in south Asia Gupteshwor Cave and many more. Hanging around the lakeside in the evening and boating in the Fewa Lake for some time is indeed a great fun. Overnight at Hotel in Pokhara.
Trace the same route from Pokhara to Kathmandu if driving and by flight will take about 25 minutes. Check-in hotel in Kathmandu. PM: At leisure/Free for shopping. Overnight at Hotel in Kathmandu.
Our representative shall transfer you back to the international airport for your onward flight. You need to be three hours prior your flight and we exchange our goodbyes. Have a safe journey back home!
