Everest Base Camp Helicopter Tour, starting with an early morning pick-up from your hotel and a drive to the Tribhuvan Airport in Kathmandu. As you board the helicopter, get ready to experience breathtaking views of the majestic Himalayan mountain range.

The first stop on the tour is Lukla, where the helicopter makes a short stop for refueling before continuing on towards Tengboche, Dingboche, Gorakshep, and the Khumbu glacier. The best months are September- December, January- June though it can be done round the year.

What kind of clothing is required?
Clothing depends upon the season. In spring/summer jacket (but not so thin)/thermals are recommended. In winter, warm jackets/thermals.

Do I get refund for any flight cancellation?
If flight is cancelled due to weather then you can try the next morning. If you can’t if in case then you will be refunded.

In which case I don’t get refund?
If the tour is canceled on the tour’s departure date then there won’t be refund.

Where does the flight lands?
Flight lands either at the Everest Base Camp or Kalapather depending upon the weather, helipad availability. If helipad isn’t available at the base camp then it lands at Kalapather (5,550m)

Are pilots experienced?
Not to worry about it. Our pilots are well experienced with years of experience in the Nepalese terrains. They are equally knowledgeable about the entire Himalayan peaks and are aware of your safely concerns.

Cancellation Policy

Situations such as political unrest, inclement weather, civil disturbances, riots, natural disasters, and other factors may necessitate cancellation or postponement, often without prior notice.

In the case of trip cancellation due to adverse weather conditions, a full refund will be provided.

The cancellation charge is determined by the date on which the Company acknowledges the cancellation request. If a guest cancels the tour after it has commenced, no refund will be issued. We are very happy with our Mt. Everest helicopter tour organized by Himalyan Luxury Holidays. We were concerned about mountain climate before heading to Everest base camp, but they had a connection with local people who check the weather and make sure it is clear before we fly to the area, so it was so helpful. We had 4 landings, two at Lukla, one at Everest view hotel and one at Kalapattar, which is spectacular viewpoint for Mt. Everest. The breakfast at Everest View Hotel is delicious. I can’t believe we can get so many choices at the mountain. If you don’t have sufficient time to complete the Everest base camp trek, or you can’t hike for 15 days, it is the best way to do in a day. Wonderful experience and highly recommended!!
